Friday, June 3rd

11:01am  Revelle Annual Watermelon Drop–MEET AT UREY HALL, REVELLE

Once again, we’re finishing off the school year with the famous Watermelon Drop!  This event is so much fun!  The Revelle tradition of dropping a watermelon of a building and seeing how far it splatters means free watermelon for all, and our second to last gig of the year! We’ll be done by noon, so come on out even if you have class in the afternoon!

8:00pm  End Of The Year Bonfire!–Rides at Sungod

Turkey, fire, drinks, sand, and fun! A great way to finish off the school year before finals and graduation!

We’ll be working on some new songs, and polishing up some old ones! Come hang out and play some great music! Also, this will be our last week of officer nominations, so come and nominate and/or be nominated!

9:00am  Steps for Health Fair & Walk–MEET AT RIMAC CLOSET

We’re playing at the AMSA Walk this year, out in Normal Heights! SO–this means that we’re meeting in RIMAC at 9am to be over there (15 minute drive) to play by 10am. We’ll organize rides during rehearsal on Tuesday! It’ll be a short gig, so you can get back to the glorious 8th week studying right after!

Sunday, May 22nd

8:00am  Arthritis Walk San Diego–MEET AT RIMAC CLOSET

‘Tis the season of charity walks, and the Pepband is in high demand! This Sunday, we’ll be performing at the Arthritis Walk in Liberty Station (shortish drive) in the morning. Benefits: entertaining walkers, supporting a good cause, free food and swag. Cons: We’re only playing for about an hour. Once again, we’ll organize rides on Tuesday. It’s going to be a great way to close off the weekend, and the band is really appreciated at these events!

Saturday, May 7th

9:27am  UCSD Transfer Admit Day–MEET AT LIBRARY WALK, BOOKSTORE ENTRANCE

‘Tis the season of admit days! Transfer Admit Day is crucial for the Band’s recruitment and membership! Some of your fellow bands-people are transfers! We’ll be playing for an hour or so, and hopefully there will be more free food and popsicles!

****One more thing: If you haven’t already, sign up for the PEPBAND BANQUET! This is our big end of the year bash at a fancy restaurant with fancy clothes, prizes, awards and food! You’ll have a great time, and meet some great alumni too!***
